Description
Set on a mound of sand with a shovel as part of the scene, this automaton centres on a treasure chest that opens to reveal the treasure inside. The lid lifts to reveal miniature hand-painted coins and jewels.
Materials
Crafted from archival mat board. The mechanism is made with brass wire and beads.
It is coated to harden and made water-resistant for durability.
